We Chose the Forge, Not the Furnace
Most of the internet's growth runs on furnaces - halls of racks drawing power around the clock, cooled by machinery that never stops. Ours runs on a forge-fire: small, deliberate, and powered entirely by renewable energy.
One quiet flame, kept lit - not a hall of them.
How the Fire Stays Lit
No diesel backup. No dirty grid pull. Three renewable energy sources, handing off to each other automatically.
Day Watch
From sunrise to sunset, solar panels carry the full load. No grid draw at all while the sun is up.
Night Watch
After dark, a battery bank picks up exactly where the sun left off, carrying the server straight through the night.
Reserve Watch
If solar or battery ever falls short, the grid connection takes over - sourced through Snowy Hydro, not a coal-fired mix. Every fallback stays clean.
Based in New South Wales, Australia - close enough to the Snowy Mountains hydro scheme to draw on it directly for the rare moments solar and battery need a hand.
The Cost Nobody Shows You
AI training runs and hyperscale data centers are reshaping how much power the internet quietly burns - cooling towers running nonstop, backup diesel idling just in case, racks provisioned for peak load and left running through the quiet hours too. That's not a rumor; it's the default architecture of computing at scale. We built the opposite of that, on purpose.
The Furnace
- Provisioned for peak, and run at peak, around the clock
- Backup power from diesel generators, idling just in case
- Whatever mix the grid happens to be burning that day
- Scaled for growth on paper, not for what's actually being used
The Forge
- Sized for exactly the servers we run - nothing idling
- Backup power from renewable hydro, not diesel
- Solar and battery first, every single day, by design
- Small on purpose, not small by accident
Green Doesn't Mean Slower
We didn't build this to make a statement - we built it because it works, and because "green" shouldn't be a trade-off your players notice. Every plan runs on the same hardware, the same network, and the same uptime commitment, powered by a setup we're glad to explain in full instead of hiding behind a leaf icon.
Curious about uptime specifically? See our live status page.
